Plastiq is a bill pay service for businesses, country clubs, schools, utilities, governments, and more. In the event an unrecognized charge appears on your statement, it's likely that someone with access to your card used Plastiq to submit a payment.
Before taking further action, we highly recommend you speak with friends, family members, business partners or any employees who could have submit this payment on your behalf.
If you have determined that this is indeed a fraudulent charge, please submit a request to investigate by emailing email@example.com. So we can work quickly to resolve this issue, please provide this information:
Your email address and any email address you might have associated with a Plastiq account.
The amount charged.
Date of the charge.
Card brand (i.e. Visa, AMEX, Mastercard, Discover, etc.)
Last 4 digits of the card.
The listed cardholder name.
Please do not include the whole card number or the CVV security code.
With this information, we will investigate and let you know what we find within two (2) business days.
