Plastiq is not able to handle refunds. Once a payment is submitted, you will need to speak with the business or person you are paying for a refund. Our system will start processing the payment right away and we have limited access to cancel a payment. The business or person you are paying will get the funds within the next few days.
Once you click submit, there is no way to edit any information or for you to cancel the payment
In rare cases when we can cancel a payment, please note a fee may be charged to your card to cover the cost of stopping a payment that is in-flight or being issued. Plastiq will not be held liable for any stop check fees or any fee you may incur from a refund or cancellation request.
