There may be a case where a refund has been issued but the amount is not debited from your bank account.
The funds have been returned to the card used to make the payment. However, please note that Plastiq's current refund capabilities are limited in the ability to debit your bank account. As such, the refund was disbursed from Plastiq's bank account and any refund processed through Plastiq will need to be reimbursed by the business. Please reach out to Business Support for a mailing address or banking information for reimbursement.
It is strongly recommended that refunds are handled independently and outside of Plastiq, for instance, by sending the customer a check or issuing a credit for future payments.
