What countries can be paid?
China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan, India, Japan, South Korea, Turkey, Mexico, the UK, Thailand, Australia and all countries in the European Union are currently available in the application.
How long does it take for my payment to arrive?
Payments will be disbursed on the next business day. From there, crediting timelines vary depending on the recipient country and bank, but most payments take 2 to 4 business days to reach your recipient's account.
Wire payments can be expedited and sent out on the same day by request. Please contact our support team via email or live chat before 12 PM PST (3 PM EST) to have your payment escalated to same-day disbursement.
In very rare instances, international payments may not be available due to market conditions. Plastiq will always endeavor to pay your recipient as instructed but may be required to delay or refund payments in rare circumstances.
How much does it cost?
International wire payments include the standard Plastiq Fee plus $60.00 (bank and handling fees)
What currencies can I send?
At this time, Plastiq only sends international wire funds in USD. If your recipient invoices you in a non-supported currency, we recommend you ask them if they can be paid in USD. You can still pay international recipients with bank accounts in other denominations (e.g. Euro), but the recipient bank will convert the funds based on their currency exchange rates. They may also apply additional fees.
Can I use American Express?
At this time, American Express is not available for international wire payments.
Who can I pay?
The beneficiary must be a legally registered business. International wire payments to individuals are not supported.
How do you send international payments?
Plastiq sends international payments via wire transfer.
What information do I need in order to send international payments?
You will need a current invoice and the wire instructions from your recipient. You’ll also need both a contact email and phone number for your recipient.
