What countries can be paid?
China, Hong Kong, and Singapore are currently available in the application. If you’d like to pay a recipient from a country not listed here, please send an email to email@example.com.
How long does it take for my payment to arrive?
Payments submitted before 10am PT Monday through Friday will be dispersed same day (next business day for payments submitted after). From there, delivery timelines vary depending on the recipient country and bank, but most payments take 2 to 4 business days to reach your recipient's account.
How much does it cost?
Payments more than $20,000 include the standard 2.5% Plastiq fee. Payments under $20,000 are subject the 2.5% Plastiq fee plus an additional $50 International Wire fee.
What currencies can I send?
At this time, Plastiq only send funds in USD. If your recipient invoices you in a non-supported currency, we recommend you ask them if they can be paid in USD. You can still pay international recipients with bank accounts in other denominations (e.g. Euro), but the recipient bank will convert the funds based on their currency exchange rates. They may also apply additional fees.
Can I use American Express?
At this time, American Express is not available for international wire.
Who can I pay?
The beneficiary must be a legally registered business. Individuals are not supported via international wire.
How do you send international payments?
Plastiq sends international payments via wire transfer.
What information do I need in order to send international payments?
You will need a current invoice and the wire instructions from your recipient. You’ll also need both a contact email and phone number for your recipient.
