When Plastiq refunds you for a cancelled or returned payment, the refund is issued directly to the card that originally processed the charge. If Plastiq issues a refund to an inactive Visa card, the refund will fail.
What Happens Next?
Plastiq will work with you to ensure you are credited for this refund. Once Plastiq confirms that the refund attempt has failed, Plastiq will notify you via email and request some information to help us complete the refund.
